NS Agricultural College offers an undergraduate degree programme in Agriculture viz. B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture with a duration of four years consisting of 2 semesters in each year which was initiated during the academic year 2016-17. The institute has a massive Pentagonal Building with two floors accommodating 8 well-furnished classrooms(Digital), 14 well-equipped laboratories under various departments, a library, and a smart classroom. From the day of establishment NS Agricultural College strived hard to develop the farm and laboratories in the best way to impart practical knowledge to the students. In view of this, an orchard in 17 acres area, agroforestry block, biodiversity park, medicinal block, and various instructional plots, etc. were established.
College Farm
N.S. Agricultural College Farm is of 110 acres which includes wetland, wood land in which we can notice flooded area, scarce water zone, enclosure with orchard of fruit trees, arboretum and forest trees that provides extensive and nearly continuous shade which provides scientific knowledge for the student community. INM, IPM, Organic farming, zero budget natural farming, precision farming are the recent advances in the field of agriculture which are being implemented for production of crops which provides immense knowledge to the students and it will in turn useful for the farmers in adopting these recent technologies for increased production and productivity in the State of Andhra Pradesh.
Faculty
Associate Dean The Associate Dean of the college is Dr. R.V.S.K Reddy, former Director of Research, Dr. YSR Horticultural University, Venkataramannagudem, Andhra Pradesh, who served ANGRAU and Dr. YSRHU for 36 years in various capacities such as Principal Scientist (Horticulture) Director of Extension, University Librarian, Co-Ordinator, Planning & Monitoring Cell, etc. He has been appointed by management through a selection process conducted by ANGRAU, Guntur. Teaching faculty The college has 41 faculty members with good teaching skills, holding M.Sc. and Ph.D. qualifications in various disciplines. They are well equipped with the knowledge of organizational setup, working procedure, teaching methodologies, practical training, evaluation procedures and student-advisor system. The faculty is provided with opportunities for improving their teaching and research capabilities by undergoing training at constituent colleges of ANGRAU. Supporting faculty The institute has fourteen well-equipped laboratories under various departments provided with well qualified assistants, lab assistants, and field assistants. The staff of the Associate Dean’s Secretariat provides technical support and aid in the smooth running of the academic programme.

He worked in the software industry for 15 years and has traveled to many countries like the U.S.A. and the U.K. as part of the work. He returned to India a few years back in the interest of developing agricultural activities in his native place. He has started an agricultural farm using organic methods.

With 36 years of vast experience in the field of agriculture, Dr. RVSK Reddy has taken charge as Associate Dean of NS Agricultural College in 2022. He has authored 119 research articles, 99 popular articles, 8 short communications, and 38 other publications like book chapters, newsletters, abstracts, etc.
