DEPARTMENT OF SOIL SCIENCE AND AGRICULTURAL CHEMISTRY
The Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry is an academic unit dedicated to studying the physical, chemical, and biological properties of soils, and their interactions with plants, fertilizers, and environmental factors. This department focuses on understanding soil management and agricultural chemistry to improve crop production, ensure sustainable land use, and enhance soil health. This department has one well equipped laboratory of 1650 sq.ft. area.
During the practical classes conducted by this department students are trained on classification of soils based on structure & texture, preparation of soil and plant samples for analysis, pH and EC analysis, estimation of major and micronutrients in the soil and plant sample, etc.

The college provides comprehensive academic support, financial assistance and personalized out reach efforts in order to serve community of students, faculty & staff. In addition, by utilizing highly effective business, administrative and student information systems, the office provides advocacy for the colleges academic departments & programme.
